Calisto was built in 1944 for the US Navy. In 1954, she was bought by Mr L. Guinness the Irish tycoon, who also owned Jacques Cousteau's famed La Calypso. Calisto was brilliantly transformed into this personal luxury yacht. Calisto was and still is about old world charm and high sea exploration. She caters to the boating pleasure of the well-heeled. She sailed the waters of Greece and Britain and now roams the seas South-East Asia in style.
